This project that was situated in the centre of Camborne on the grounds of the original school of mining. Conditions of the site meant that part of the new build had to be in keeping with the original character of the school. Tucker Buildings provided the masonry works, which included using local natural stone and granite quoins.
The Harbour Hotels Group engaged our services to build an extension to the existing Sidmouth Harbour Hotel. The extension provided state of the art gymnasium facilities.
Tucker Buildings Ltd were instructed by a 2 times Michelin star chef in 2016 to deliver the renovation and extension of a country house in Lympstone, Exmouth. The scheme comprises: Sensitive conversion and extension to a Grade 2 Listed building, using specialist building techniques to preserve the fabric of the historic building. 21 hotel bed spaces, formation of reception rooms including the dinning, kitchen and bar spaces. Formation of formal landscape and gardens. The building works included liaising with the local planning authority’s conservation team and building regulations department. Project duration - 12 months
